Although much development work has been targeted for youth, the contribution that can be made by young people in the fight against corruption and weak governance in their communities’ has not been realized. The First National Conference on Youth Action Against Corruption addressed some of the most pressing questions of our time, with transparency and accountability high on the agenda. To reach the objectives of the Conference, the program took stock of past and current anti-corruption work in Kenya, and discussed the central role of young people in the development of the agenda.
