Africa Youth Trust, in partnership with the Raoul Wallenberg Institute, will conduct the Training Program on The Equal Status and Human Rights of Women in East Africa from 23 November - 4 December 2009.
This joint Program is sponsored by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).
Africa Youth Trust in collaboration with Raoul Wallenberg Institute hosted a Discussion Forum on Demanding Gender Justice and Accountability in National Peace Building and Reconciliation Processes on Thursday, 5th November 2009 at Lukenya Getaway, to provide a forum for participants of the ongoing Regional Training Program to contribute to the ongoing discussions in East Africa on peace and security and provide recommendations towards demanding social justice and accountability in nation peace building and reconciliation process.
